On December 18-19, a delegation from the Department of Civil Engineering of Dundalk Institute of Technology, led by Patrick McCormick, visited our university for academic exchange. Liu Xin, a member of HUE party committee and vice president, met with the guests and attended the discussion.

During their visit, Director McCormick and his party toured the laboratories of the School of Civil Engineering, including structures, mechanics, and geotechnical laboratories, as well as the Smart Construction Innovation Test Center. They observed the structural laboratory's structural design competition model display and taught and discussed with students of the sino-foreign cooperative educational program in civil engineering. The delegation also visited the campus and the library, giving high praise to the university's campus construction.

The International Cooperation and Exchange Office and the relevant persons in charge of the School of Civil Engineering accompanied the whole visit.
