On the morning of September 24, an orientation for freshmen of 2021 Civil Engineering Cooperative Education Program was held in the MBA lecture hall. The orientation was presided over by Zhang Yanhong, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange. 96 freshmen of the program attended.
Li Yancang, dean of the School of Civil Engineering, gave a comprehensive introduction to the overall situation of university and school, and put forward requirements for all freshmen to love our country, closely follow the national needs and industry development trends, study steadily and win glory for the country; To have the power of action, start from now on and make unremitting efforts; To have a dream and live up to the beautiful youth!
Tomas Dooley, Dean of Engineering School of Dundalk Institute of Technology in Ireland, and pat McCormick, Dean of Civil Engineering Department, introduced the basic situation of Dundalk Institute of technology and civil engineering major to our teachers and students through video connection, and congratulated the freshmen.
Song Yangming, deputy director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, introduced the training objectives and characteristics of the program. Zhao Hongyu, vice dean of the School of Humanity and Law introduced the language improvement plan and shared language learning experience. Subsequently, the teachers present gave on-site answers to the questions about the curriculum and teaching methods that the freshmen were concerned about.
