From December 12 to 13, Bendito dos Sanos Freitas, ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste in China, visited Hebei University of Engineering. Ji Zhenqi, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Division of the Provincial Department of Education, accompanied the visit. Ha Minghu, Secretary of the Party Committee of HUE, met with Bendito and his delegation. Liuxin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of HUE and vice president, presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Ha Minghu introduced HUE running process and development status, and expressed his wish to host the Confucius classroom with East Timor business school.

Ji zhenqi introduced the foreign exchanges of colleges and universities in Hebei Province and said that the Provincial Department of Education fully supported Hebei University of Engineering in undertaking the Confucius classroom with East Timor business school.

Bendito said that he would fully support Hebei University of Engineering in undertaking the Confucius classroom with East Timor Business School and promote all-round cooperation between East Timor universities and Hebei University of Engineering in the field of education.

Bendito and his delegation also visited the new campus and spoke highly of the construction planning and landscape greening design.
